Associations and non-profits in the registers

Civic associations and non-profit organisations are legal entities entered in separate registers of the interior ministry, which are part of the Register of Legal Entities.

Register of civic associations

Non-profit organisations
The register of non-profit organisations providing services of general benefit contained 3,695 active entries in the same snapshot.

Many entities, few contacts

Most small associations have no website or published email address, and the contact is often the statutory representative, a private individual. If you need reachable organisations, require a published contact and expect the selection to be much smaller than the register count.

Chambers and professional bodies (94.1) are a small but valuable group: they represent whole industries and usually have a professional secretariat.

Example request

We sell sports equipment and kits and are looking for sports clubs (SK NACE 93.12) in the Žilina and Trenčín regions with a published email address or website. How many records can you supply?
