Chambers publish lists of their members

Regulated professions have a register kept by a chamber or a state authority. For sales outreach the same rule applies as for any other source: what matters is a published contact and its documented origin.

Slovak Bar Association
Keeps the list of lawyers and law firms under Act No. 586/2003 Coll. on the legal profession and publishes it at sak.sk. Distinguish the individual lawyer from the firm or partnership, which has its own IČO.
Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisers
Tax advisers are governed by Act No. 78/1992 Coll. on tax advisers and the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisers. The chamber publishes its membership list.
Statutory auditors
Auditors and audit firms are governed by Act No. 423/2015 Coll. on statutory audit. The register is kept by the Auditing Oversight Authority; the professional body is the Slovak Chamber of Auditors.

Not in the export

  • number of clients and turnover of the firm
  • specialisation of the lawyer or consultant
  • names and personal contacts of employees
  • memberships other than the chamber
  • ratings and references

Individual, office or company?

In this industry one person often works as a sole trader or lawyer while a company with a different IČO exists alongside. If you want to reach the office rather than a specific person, say so in your request. Data about sole traders is personal data, and the information duties of Art. 14 GDPR apply.

Accountants and tax advisers serve clients across the whole region, not only in the municipality where they are registered. When selecting by district, consider the neighbouring districts as well.

Questions

Business and consulting services: frequently asked questions

Yes. Selecting by SK NACE class (for example 69.2) and by region or district is standard. It covers businesses with that main activity; where the classification is uncertain, we say so before the quotation.

If a firm or lawyer has published an email address as a contact, § 116(15) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. allows direct marketing without prior consent, provided every message offers an opt-out. Details: B2B outreach and § 116.

No. The export contains businesses and their published contacts with a source. If a contact comes from a chamber list, the contact source column says so. We do not supply a full copy of a chamber list.
